We are seeking a detail-oriented Landscaping Spray Technician to apply chemicals and fertilizers on high-end commercial properties. What You’ll Do

  • Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on turf and landscape areas to ensure optimal health and appearance
  • Monitor the health of turf, trees, and plants, making recommendations for treatments
  • Safely and efficiently apply products in accordance with all State and Federal regulations
  • Attend mandatory field safety training and utilize proper safety equipment
  • Properly log all applications, ensuring compliance with documentation standards
  • Safely operate and maintain pressurized spray equipment, spreaders, tractors, overseeders, and other field tools
  • Ensure all assigned equipment, tools, vehicles, and trailers are well-maintained, stored securely, and kept clean
  • Report any equipment damage or malfunctions promptly and follow the maintenance schedules
  • Adhere to Quality Control standards, reporting any site conditions to your Crew Leader/Manager
  • Maintain customer satisfaction, ensuring job sites meet or exceed bid specifications
  • Stay current on industry trends, including products and equipment advancements
  • Follow all local, state, and federal pesticide application regulations and maintain licensing
  • Keep safety documentation, including MSDS sheets, up-to-date and organized
  • Work independently when required, demonstrating initiative and responsibility

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 1-2 years in commercial landscaping with specific experience in chemical and fertilizer applications
  • Skills: Ability to operate spray equipment and other related field tools effectively and safely
  • Certifications: Pesticide Applicator’s License required; valid state driver’s license appropriate for vehicle class
  • Mindset: Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision
